The Charles River Esplanade (along Memorial Drive in Cambridge and Storrow Drive in Boston) is great offers a great view of Boston and is ideal for a leisurely stroll. Memorial Drive is closed around Harvard on Sundays in the summer, making it ideal for strolling, bike riding, skating, jogging, etc.
