Something that is interesting is to think about ways in which the format of wikipedia creates bias. For example, the format of the traditional news media creates a bias toward stories that involve controversy and have human interest and the presentation of the news media tends to create a dynamic in which a story is usually presented in terms of a conflict between two sides.
Ways in which wikipedia is biased are:
1) someone who posts something on wikipedia cares about what they are posting about 2) someone who posts a lot has time to post
- I don't know if this is "biased." These things certainly affect WP, and we might want to preserver a distinction between the two? -- Reagle
