Starting from Franklin Roosevelt

Franklin Roosevelt defined four freedoms

  * Freedom of speech
  * Freedom of religion
  * Freedom from want
  * Freedom from fear

The last two are the more interesting ones that are often not discussed but which are useful in a wiki context.

Another question:

Do people mean the same thing when they talk about freedom? I know that people use the term democracy in radically different ways, but it might be interesting instead of trying to define freedom to catalog the different definitions out there.
