I've been at the Hacking Days on 2nd and 3rd August 2006, asking naive questions about convergence, WMF strategy, and "semantic deepening". I was deeply impressed by all the fantastic work I saw, and was particularly inspired by the WiktionaryZ/WikiData structured approach, LiquidThreads (such a brilliantly straightforward solution to a pain in the ass problem), and Mako's triple-purpose (it populates CYC, it works for blind people, and it catches spammers!) CAPTCHA.
